Myrtle Beach Vacation

This year during Spring Break we went on vacation to Myrtle Beach. It was our first since Ian has been born, and we re-discovered that traveling with a little one is a lot like moving! We had so much stuff with us it was ridiculus. Good thing the resort we stayed at had a parking deck in the middle of it so that when you parked your vehicle you were on the same floor as your room or we would have wore ourselves out just hauling in the luggage. We enjoyed the indoor pool and lazy river that our resort had as well as venturing out to some different places such as the aquarium, the children's museum of SC (which is a really cool place to check out if you have never been--all the exhibits are hands on learning experiences and admission is really reasonable), and of course eating seafood buffet. We did explore the beach on one of the warmer days that we were there but it was so windy that we couldn't stay very long.

The children's museum is definitely a must-see if you are taking a myrtle beach vacation with your family. There are also some great vacation rentals that are very kid-friendly and even provide toys, a crib, monitor, etc. so you don't have to move the whole house with ya!
